DNA LAB:

In this lab we extracted DNA epithelial cells from the inside of cheek.

This was after the lysis we added which breaks open the cells nuclear membrane so it can release the nuclear contents.

We sat the tubes in warm water baths for a couple of minutes.

After  the protease change had occured the solution cleared up and thickend just a little bit, from this we took some of our DNA from the tube and made necklaces.
